I generally have pdf files which are scanned books from openlibrary, and the kindle app doesn't do a very good job with them, anyway, so I use Moonreader Pro or the built-in pdf reader. The 20MB size limit is not the app size limit its the limit to download via 3G(if wifi this limit dont apply) for downloading additional data after an app is downloaded by market.
